AstroFlight is an app to tell you about astronomic events throughout your flight.
Do you wish to know whether you are sitting within the shadow or on the sunny web site of your aircraft? Do you like to know, where it will be evening on your flight or when and the place sunrise or sundown will take place?
Select start and destination level and you will note your estimated flight route on a map. You can selected areas from an enormous airport record with greater than 9000 airports, together with search by interantional airport code.
A purple line signifies that the Sun is shining on the left facet (barboard) of the plane, a green line indicates that the Sun is on the proper facet (starboard). If the line is magenta the Sun is below the horizon and the Moon is on the left hand facet, a cyan colored line signifies that the Moon is on the proper hand facet. If neither Sun nor Moon are visible, the line shall be blue. Yellow and inexperienced arrows indicate the direction of sunrise, sundown, moonrise and moonset.
AstroFlight makes use of OpenStreepMap, which is succesful to cache recordsdata for offline use. You can even load offline maps in the osmdroid folder of your SD card and share your offline maps with other apps utilizing the OsmDroid library!
