Seneca’s Integrity Matters application (app) is meant to enhance students’ information and understanding of educational integrity that can assist them make informed choices.

This app has been tailored from the University of Waterloo’s Foundations for Academic Success App, which was developed with funding from eCampus Ontario. This is an open entry software with a Creative Commons license, allowing other institutions to repeat and customise this tutorial to their very own needs. Seneca acknowledges and credits the work of University of Waterloo.

Seneca is a member of the International Centre for Academic Integrity (ICAI), an affiliation founded to fight cheating and plagiarism in greater education. ICAI defines Academic Integrity as a commitment

to the six elementary values; honesty, respect, trust, fairness, responsibility and courage. (ICAI, Fundamental Values Project, 1999, 2013). The app is designed around these values.

The Seneca Integrity Matters app consists of partaking modules and video games that may help you better perceive educational integrity, some common misconceptions, and real-world functions of the ideas and insurance policies. The modules provide examples of situations that connect the basic values to on a daily basis practices. Your capacity to apply these value in your personal work is necessary to be a successful

and moral learner.
